Overview

Sheik Abdel Zaher, head of the Kushma'an Bedouin and his daughter Samira have agreed, under certain reservations, to open their "land" to a small number of tourists.

So consider it a great honor to make a trip to the Bedouin land of the Khushma'ans. In addition to the sights, you will also get an insight into the lives of real Bedouins and nomads.

In addition to these historical and cultural attractions, the desert itself offers unforgettable highlights:

- Infinite widths
- Grandiose play of colors of the rocks (especially at sunrise or sunset) and above all
- The inhabitants of the desert as well as the Bedouins

Important: This tour focuses on the history of the Bedouins, so there will be no sales events. Other activities such as camel riding will not take place.

What To Expect

Sand City
Egypt is known for the desert landscape, the colorful underwater world and the historic pyramids and the famous temples. In addition to these millennia-old sights, there are many other attractions that are unknown to most tourists in Egypt. The "Arabian Desert" offers a lot of history, for example:
- Stone Age finds of relics in caves, which indicate the origin of "Homo Sapiens" in Egypt or
- Excavations of quarries and the first "Suez Canal", a road between the Red Sea and the Nile Valley, from Roman times.
- The first Christian monasteries were built in the Arabian Desert.

Most of these sites are located in the tribal area of the Kushma'an Bedouins, but this area is one of the last parts of Egypt where Bedouins and nomads have all rights to use and can only be accessed by them (and their visitors).
